MetaPortal supports both web and desktop games.

To browse the available games, go to the Games page. To browse the game details, click on the game card.

Launching a game

You can launch a game through the game details page.

Web-based games

Web-based games are opened in a new MetaPortal window. If the game supports MetaMask, you can select to sign in with MetaMask and you will be able to connect with your MetaPortal wallet.

Currently, only Ethereum-based games are supported.

Desktop games

Desktop games have to be downloaded first. When you click to download a game, the download page will open in your default browser. Once you download the game, you have to select the game file through the Portal. If a file is selected, you will be able to launch the game. If you change the directory of the file or rename it, you will have to select it again. Desktop games are launched in a new MetaPortal window. The MetaPortal wallet is currently not supported by desktop games, so you will have to use another option that the game supports.
